Tumpie`s Family Steakhouse in Dublin

Fantastic! Rustic farmhouse style. Terrific waiter. Best prime rib I've had in a long time. Reasonably priced.

If u don't get there at 4:45 u will have a long wait. We waited 2 hrs last night and then no appetizers. The food very good, we ordered steak and shrimp it was cooked perfect. Next time I will order all shrimp they r so good. Will be going back.

Steak fixed to Hard, Full of Grease, Side Dishes wasn't decent to eat, Service was poor.

If you want a great dinning experience and craving steak then this is the perfect place for you. It's open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and it's located out in the country in a old two story house with lots of charm and history inside. Each dining room has its own theme. It's a favorite of mine and I recommend it to everyone to give it a try. It gets very busy so get there early or plan on waiting

Ordered a ribeye and they brought a sirloin steak or something. I just know it wasn't a ribeye. Been eating nothing but Ribeyes my whole life. Waitress insisted it was a ribeye. Sorry but i know better. You would think a streak House would know the difference.

This is one of those must spots when visiting family back home. This restaurant has a sweet southern atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. They have the best hamburger steak around. The backed potatoes are always cooked perfectly and the blooming onion is a must.

The ribeye steaks are awesome no sauce needed. Everything was just perfect. Will definitely return.

Firstly you have to understand that there will be a wait. Enjoy a conversation with whomever you go with. Our server Casey was sweet and our food was hot and fresh. I enjoyed my ribeye and my husband's company. Next time I will try the seafood.

Nice local family owned restaurant, Greatcsteaks and the salmon is out of this world-fantastic.

Traveling through the area and did a search for restaurants and decided to try Tumpies after reading the reviews. I am so glad we did! I had filet that was AMAZING! It had such a quaint atmosphere, very reasonable prices and very friendly staff! The only negative for me is that I live too far away and can’t come back soon enough!

It was pretty good, but seemed like a pretty much average steak house to me. It's in a cute looking little house. It really wasn't anything out of the ordinary to me, though.

The steaks here are divine - always cooked to order. Sides include a baked potato, sweet potato, or fries. Side salad with honey mustard, ranch, or Thousand Island. A roll rounds off the meal! The fried pickles are to die for!

Excellent food, you get your money worth. You may have to wait just a little but it's worth it.

Having been to different countries and living in and around Atlanta Georgia, I have not eaten at a better restaurant than Tumpies in East Dublin. And for the price, you'd be ludicrously mistaken to have eaten anywhere else that serves steaks, seafood and various items. The owner is the chef and his food is exquisite! If you haven't tried Tumpies you really haven't eaten yet. Go!

Tender steak... great service

We went on a Valentine's Day so the wait was long which is completely expected. The staff got us seated as quickly as possible and before we knew it was had drinks and appetizers. The side and appetizers were amazing and the steaks were ok. Maybe it was because they were super busy but they were not cooked to order and lacked any flavor.

Just found out about this place. Very obscure location, a bit hard to find. Also takes a while to get your food. But its worth the trouble. EDIT:I came back, because I realized when the owner replied, that I sounded kind of blah! I didn’t want to! The food IS worth the trouble!!

Good today. Big steaks. Catfish. Best scallops ever; always to perfection. Over cook steaks a bit at times, but delicious. Wait staff often overwhelmed, but lovely ladies. Would eat more often if not for distance. Worth the 40 mile drive.
